Not Giving Up!

Okay... I know it's been a LONG time since I've posted, which is horrible, because I've been so good about following my own bloggly advice. Yes, "bloggly" is officially a new word created by me, along with the word "neuroticism..." I love that one.

Here's the workout routine with no certain days for either. I work better that way, because if I miss a day with one thing, it sends me into a tizzy.

It's simple really... run/walk 5 miles outdoors, then come home and do my ab exercises. Or, I do an indoor workout on my elliptical and then do my ab exercises. I use the Kettle Ball workout for abs, or do my own. I just know it's important to rotate your exercises, and since I do an ab workout everyday, I try to vary the things I do. I have all kinds of resources... and found another the other day that is really very simple. Here it is:

This one is great, and I love the lower ab workout the best on this one, because I can really feel it, whereas what I was doing before, had me feeling it a bit, but not as much as I wanted to. I struggle with the plank, and cannot do the "inside/out" at all right now.

Or there's this one. When you click on the link, it should take you directly to the page with a picture labeled "Slim Your Waist"

These exercises are a bit easier to do than some of the ones in the videos on the first ink. If you'll notice, the plank is prominent in all ab workouts.

Along with exercising, I've been trying be more active overall. At times, it's hard because when you really don't have much going on, you tend to fall into a "not wanting to do much" phase, unless you have a small child at home, or something else to keep you busy... which, I don't. I have three dogs and teens that keep me stressed. As we all know, stress adds belly fat, which I'm battling with right now. Another thing that adds belly fat... liquor. These last few months, we've been going out more at night, during the day, etc, etc. Going out equals drinking... So, no more of that for me. My health is my focus right now, and the drinking is simply a backward fall!

Okay... time for me to go now. I have household chores (much better than sitting around!), then my workout!
